Massimo Ambrosini has been named as captain of Milan and I for one do not agree with this move.
Surely Ambro is a loyal and committed player and perhaps in a lesser side would be a deserving captain. But in a side that hosts household names like Pato, Pirlo and Ronaldinho I do not believe that giving the armband to Ambro is a wise move.
Most of all, as there is a certain Alessandro Nesta in the side surely he would be the logical choice. A class act of a player and one who captained his previous side Lazio, Nesta has all the qualities of a captain and has the talent to back it up.
