All the goals from a Milan derby we would all like to forget.

Milan 0 Inter 4: Inter crush Milan

Goals from Milito, Motta, Stankovic and Maicon earnt Inter an impressive victory over a less-than-impressive Milan. The early signs were good for Milan but Inter struck first through Motta. Gattuso was then sent off as Milito converted from the spot. Maicon completed the first half route as Stankovic wrapped things up in the second half with a wonderful longe range strike.

Milan v Inter Preview: Now it really starts

Milan take on Inter on Saturday in what will be an intriguing encounter. Milan go into the clash confident after a good performance last week in Siena where the team collected all three points. Milan will also be boosted with the inclusion of KJH in the squad though the player is expected to start on the bench.

Encouraging signs but the real test awaits on Saturday

Encouraging signs from Milan’s Brazilian contingent. Ronaldinho, Pato and Thiago Silva all impressed in Milan’s opening match. In particular, Ronaldinho looks on track to rediscover his form though it is still early days. Meanwhile, Milan desperately need a new full back or two even.

Siena 1 Milan 2: Leonardo starts off with a win as Pato strikes twice

Pato strikes twice as Ronaldinho orchestrates a Milan victory. Siena did make a game of it though scoring themselves through Ghezzal but it was Milan who claimed victory. For Leonardo the perfect start to his reign. The coach will have Pato and Ronaldinho to thank for this victory whilst another Brazilian Thiago Silva also enjoyed an impressive debut.

A ‘Fab’- esque signing the solution

Leonardo remains positive albeit out of necessity. But as the team’s morale sinks lower, it becomes ever more apparent that the answer is the signing of a young, quality player who has the hunger to win. Fabregas would be great but extremely unlikely is such a transfer. But a player of similar qualities is what is needed to revitalise the squad before the start of the campaign.
