TIM Cup Misery + Good Riddance, Kalac + Beckham would be good right about now

Milan come last in the TIM Cup after once again failing to perform. Kalac is finally released by the Milan board and in his place Flavio Roma comes in. David Beckham has said that he wants to return. It must be said, Beckham’s professionalism and resilient attitude would be great for the team right about now.

Pirlo stays in Milan whilst Ronaldinho is told to go to bed by fans

The decision to keep Andrea Pirlo will certainly be a good thing for Milan, though to sell him and use that money to buy a quality young player may have been better. Also, Ronaldinho told to go to bed by fans whilst out partying late in the night. Not the kind of behaviour we Milan fans wish to see and certainly not a good sign.

Official: Huntelaar joins Milan

Finally, Milan have signed a striker after a long and arduous search. Luis Fabiano, Edin Dzeko, David Trezeguet are among the few names that had been mentioned but in the end it was the Dutchman Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Real Madrid that has signed for the Rossoneri.

Milan in for Fabregas

Recent reports indicate that Milan may just be about to pull off what would be a massive coup in securing a deal for Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas. With the imminent departure of Andrea Pirlo, Galliani and Berlusconi know that they need to land a star player to replace the outgoing Italian international especially as they have failed to replace Kaka, so far at least.

I had computer troubles this week hence I was unable to watch the game. From what I gather, Milan’s performance was much improved from the game against Bayern with Pato in particular having a good game notwithstanding his miss in the penalty shootout.
