Not a bad idea Milanista.

Seedorf is better in defence than Pirlo and therefore could be better suited to playing Pirlo’s role. But then again, Seedorf is a natural attacking mid and might struggle playing in deep midfield and this is the reason probably why Leo set it up this way. I am not for the idea of fix something when it is not broken either.

At present, Pirlo is not working to great effect and options should be considered. Hernanes would be ideal in this role.

As for Becks. I am not sure where he will fit in. Again, we should not fix something that is not broken. Maybe Becks could play in Pirlo’s role. He did so at Real and even though he did not excel at it, he will be competent enough and maybe Pirlo can be given some rest. Becks is probably better defensively than Pirlo too.

I think we can make good use of Pirlo by making Seedorf, Pirlo rotation. Or, if we really want Pirlo and Seedorf to be in there, then we can drop Seedorf back and send Pirlo front. Pirlo was great trequarista for Italy when he was called upon and Seedorf is not as bad as Pirlo in defense, though that would mean that we sacrifice what has been working till now. Another problem is where will Beckham play when he comes back. Only formation that will work then is 442 if we want to make full use of all our players.

Sure that is true. However, he is not as important to the side any longer under this new system it has to be said.
Seedorf is our attacking mid, Ambro our defensive mid and all we need now is a player who is both offensive and defensively capable. Pirlo is the former but is not both.
