My only point of contention is Bonera. I think he showed flashes of class and hopefully with a few more games can be a reliable cover for our defense. He has been out for ages and did look a bit rusty. I was surprised by how poor Nesta played considering his form this season. Despite providing the assist for the first goal, Beckham was awful. Gattuso or Flamini were missed in midfield and one of them should have started instead of Becks. We also missed Borriello, Hunterlaar was poor and probably should have been subbed for Inzaghi earlier. Hopefully Borriello will be back for the 2nd leg. United were there for the taking yesterday and we missed an opportunity. They had some luck where we didn't but they took their chances.
