The return of Robinho

Let's hope for an immediate impact from the tricky attacker

Brazilian ace Robinho has recovered from injury and could make his first Serie A appearance for the season against Palermo this weekend.

Milan have not been in good form during his absence and his return will come as a welcome boost for Max Allegri who has had to deal with an early season injury crisis.

“I am fine and happy, I have recovered. I am now training with the squad and I hope I will give my team-mates a helping hand in the next match,” Robinho told the Milan Channel.

“When I felt pain for the first time in August, I did not think I would be out for this long, I have never had any serious injuries in my career, but it is over now.

“I cannot wait to step onto the pitch at San Siro and to win matches with the team again.”

The former Real Madrid player enjoyed a successful start to his Milan career last season with his 14 goals helping the club secure its 18th Scudetto triumph.
